Ryn looked at Hidesai, feeling weird in the new clothes. She wasn't used to anything other than scales, and the soft fabric was strange to her. She watched, not quite understanding what he was saying. Oh well, whatever. She tilted her head, folding her wings against her back. "Had what in mind? Falling from our home and having ourselves changed into humans? I didn't even know humans existed, so if someone planned this, they didn't inform me of it" She informed, crossing her arms and glaring at the humans.

Hidesai laughed at Ryn, "You're a strong one," He comments. "Well I think some how, someone knew this was going to happen." Hidesai told her. "Animals get picked all the time. How often do they come back being humans?" He asked. "Fate must have blocked our way dear Ryn. For we all know no group was ever a human, Least we still have our main traits tho," He said as he felt his feathers for the first time with his paws- no hands.

Ryn frowned. "And you're a confusing one." She murmured in reply. "I don't know how you could have known. But then again, I don't pay attention to who gets choosen or who comes back, so I suppose I wouldn't know." She said. "I want my scales and horns and fire back." She informed, her eyes changing to a dull, dark red that was close to black.

Safari nodded to Hidesai. Ebony gazed open-mouthed at Hidesai. "What the bajezus?" Was the only thing that came out of his mouth. Ivory turned to Ebony. "My god. The freaks keep piling in. And theres more?!" She whispered to him. Safari sat on the ground, playing with the dirt. She thought about why fate had done this. Why was a rag-tag team of Xersians sent to this foreign land?
Then, in the midst of all the hustle of the crowd, the familiar words everyone had been told as a child rang throughout, but only the Chosen could hear it.
"For when the Chosen reach their destination, a trial will unfold. A trial of myth and chasing legends, falls to the limits of thee. If they succeed, life will be limitless, reaching the heavens is easy for thee. Soon they will cascade, and a theory will unfold. For the Ancient Wings from the ruins, the familiar ruins, will carry them home."
The Ancient wings? What? Something about the words popped. What Ancient Wings? Would that get them home?

Phon listened to their conversation. Arguing. The typical. Then he heard the other two humans talk about some doctor? he didn't feel safe. Well, he didn't feel that the others were safe ither. He was a robot spices. A practical ancient gaurdian. He had to watch this group of chosen, including him, of what they are doing. But nothing bad was going on... But still... the humans said somthing about some wierd doctor. Then Phon blinked and felt the words flow into him... he never felt that feeling before.
Phon saw Ebony whisper somthing. He was suspicious. he gave them a look for a while. a suspicious one...

"Ya'll are acting slightly suspicious," Artemia said softly as she sat down next to Safari and picked some dirt from between her own feathers. "Gaw," she thought as her thought wandered.

As the words of the prophecy echoed in the heads of the chosen, Lyra looked around the crowd and then down to the cloths that were at her foot-paws. This was all so strange, but with the prophecy, it made semi-sense.
She scooped up a light powder blue shirt and put it on with slight difficulty before picking up a black pair of shorts and cutting a hole in them for her tail. Holding the shorts in her paw she stood up on all fours and then began a delicate balancing act as she finally found her footing and stood up on her two hind legs and put on the shorts with great difficulty. She had to fight to keep her balance.
How did humans stand this? It was so awkward to stand on two legs, let-alone walk. Oh how she missed her quadrupedal body.

Juinn was still recovering from shock. She laid on the ground not far away from the group, watching and taking everything in. A few minutes ago they were only witnessing the grandeur of the edge of the world. And now... they seemed to be in an entirely different world. Pale, naked skin... as her conciousness adjusted to her new body she was extremely aware of a light breeze on her exposed skin. Oh, how she longed to have her fur back. This would take some getting used to. She began to shake the notion that she was barking mad and started accepting this as reality. She and this group had fallen from Xersies. Where they were, they didn't know. She snuck over to the booth and snagged some clothes. Some tight fitting black pants and a grey t-shirt that came down to her knees. She was only doing what everyone else was doing, the concept of "This doesn't fit!!" didn't occur to her. Words.. coming from no where, but they somehow seemed comforting. She felt a strange bond to these Xersians that she had not known until now. They were sent here and for some reason, are destined to find their way back.

(Hurray!!!! Inspiration? ) |Side note: I'm thinking about using this plot as a book, and am going to haul around mums computer to her PT to get started typing. | Safari looked at the group. Everyone was here. (I have no clue about stunty.) She nodded to Ebony and Ivory. Ivory's eyes dulled a bit at the thought of letting these freaks into her home, but hey, Dr. Grey payed a good price for freaks. They would be able to buy a house for each freak they gave him! Ebony motioned for the group to follow him after he loaded all the extra clothes he didn't sell today onto a cart. He started trekking off to a different part of the town. As Safari followed, she looked to her right to see a strange place. The buildings were shaped oddly, some domes, some reaching high up. They had gears and wires all over them, and a loud ticking came from the city. Above the city was a large cloud of brown, musty pollution. 'What a horrible place to live." The area they were headed, though, was different. There were shacks and sick people propped up against crates. You could hear a dog barking in the distance, and screaming, too. "Welcome to the slums of Kraitos. The place with the best blasted hospitality on this damned island. Ivory and I's shack is here. Feel free to move about, just watch out for a guy who asks you if you want his paper bag. Say no-" "Why?" Safari asked. "Just say no." Safari shut up after that and crowed around a bowl of fruit Ivory set on the table for them. Looking at the foreign fruits with curiosity. Ebony and Ivory stood outside the shack. "Did you notify Dr. Grey?" Ebony asked. "The Steampunk bird is on it." Ivory said, puffing out a ring of smoke from her cigarette. "Good. The Catchers will be here any day now to stream them out." Ebony said, taking a swig out of his bottle. (What a disgusting brother and sister. I tell ya, the living-in-a-tree nomad will be much awesomer.)

As she followed the group the the slums of Kraitos she took time to look around at her surroundings. The objects that these humans called home were strange. Much different than her den back in Xersies. The air seemed thicker here because of the pollution. It seemed a little harder to breath, but she figured that a night or two wouldn't hurt.
As the bowl of fruit was set on the table her stomach turned. She was hungry but not that hungry. She didn't eat fruit. She was a carnivore, she ate meat. And though hungry, she was not about to try and kill the hosts or her fellow Xersians. No...for now, until she could find something already decomposed, she would go hungry.
She watched as Ebony and Ivory went outside. She heard them talking but she couldn't quite make out what they were saying. All she heard was their indecipherable murmurs.
Well, while she was here she might as well catch a little shut eye. Going over to a corner of the room she curled up and slowly drifted off to sleep, hoping that the following day would bring more answers and perhaps a bit more comfort.

Phon followed the group looking at all the sick and dying people. Death to an animal is a wierd thing, they dye in a small amount of years. Robots are different. They dye in a reasonable couple thousand years. Phon fit through the doorway into this small structure. He saw the two humans put a bowl of fruits out then went out. Phon couldent feel this "hungriness" after all, he is a robot. Then Phon looked at the walls. /Wood... Fuel... Energy.../ Phon's mind went. He started gnawing on the wood making marks in it, making a grinding noise. Seeing that his mouth was too small to chomp down on it, he gave up, for he can last months without eating. Phon saw Lyra lye down to "sleep", he cant blame them, they do need a little sleep after falling hundreds of feet smacking the ground. Yet again, Phon was different, he doesnt need sleep, he CAN sleep, just when he feels like. Phon looked at the group. Each were different, especially him. Then he took a few steps, the wood floor (do they have wood floor?) was cracking under his wieght. He wasn't fat, he was robotic, waying alot. so he stoped wanting not to damage the floor no more. so he stood there.

Artemia grabbed a piece of fruit and ate it hungrily. It had a sharp, sweet taste, with a large pit. She lounged back on the ratty sofa, smacking her lips. She crossed her legs and unfolded her wings, spreading them out. They were white, with light brown fleck and black spots. Rocy was laying on the arm of it, snoring softly. Maybe we'll get home, Artemia though as she went to sleep.

I fixit!!!Okay, I'm gunna signal the attack. I was hoping more people would post before that, but okay. Thundering clanking rang through the now-quiet slums. Safari's eyes snapped open and she got up. Everyone was sleeping, even Ebony and Ivory. She thundered outside, only to see a sight most normal people don't see. There, running towards her was a herd of metal animals. An assortment of many. There was a very cheetah's, their metal faces stiff and lifeless. Their legs equipped with bike chains for speed. They had tails made out of dragging chain. There was a horse, its mane was the tops of chicking gears, moving, helping it move. Its legs were poles with ball joints. The tail was the broken rubber off a tire. Stringy and faded. There were about 2 gazelles, metal horns gleaming. These looked more realistic, except for the fact that as soon as she was spotted, the horns dismantled into half-sized swords. Safari ran in the shack. "Wake up! Wake up! Emergency! Somethings wrong!"

"Wha-" said Artemia as she shot up, half awake. Then she saw the metal animals, running toward her. Rocy murmured as Artemia shook her awake. Ebony and Ivory were stirring now. Artemia dared a look outside. The animals were closer. Rocy looked out too, clearly freaked out.

Phon felt a disturbance and he turned back on he could sense metal coming closer and closer. Phon looked outside, he saw metal animals, he can instantly see how they were made for he was made of even more complex metal. Phon stood infront of Safari, "dont worry," He said in his deep voice, "im one thousand times more powerful. i can stop them." Then Phon slamed his foot into the ground which made a large -WHOMP-. Then he got into a fighting stance and his eyes glowed a sky-blue color, ready for a time to fight, or to defend.
